1. Watching Guys and Dolls
so a man in a suit looked like a good thing to draw.
Bit of Astaire and Laurel around that face….couldn’t help myself.

  2. I am on the left. Joker shirt and purple shorts. Yes. That was not intentional to look like a purple shake.

Okay, so my pals and I volunteered at the Long Beach Aquarium, creating a big mural for this international mural community. The mural pyramid. It was for fun and I hoped we got some kids to join us in the art making. This was my second year and it was great. Hope to do more. :)

We worked on it kind of guerrilla style—made everything form the top of our mind after had a general idea of what we wanted to do. Did it for about 6 hours.Closer shot of mural

  3. I made undies too.

    Inspired by horrible 1970s ADs

and the great illustrations of the 1960s and 70s.

    type is 1970s inspired too

and people thought bert reynold’s playgirl spread couldn’t be used for anything else other than vanity……

  4. Yeah it’s James Bond on a t-Rex. What of it?

I’m doing this concept: James Bond, from Russia with love, with dinosaurs. At one point he is riding a Russian made Dino. Yes.

  5. DAILY DRAWING #13:
    I’M A DANCE MAN EDITION

Based on Fred Astaire and probably a Rio trend they had in the 30s-40s.

I’m stuck at school until 7pm because when one doesn’t have a car, one ends up being at school at 9:30am when class is at 2pm because one is at the mercy of the schedule of the person who can drive you to school. People with cars are spoiled and cannot comprehend how much of a bitch it is to live like this. Of course, they needn’t even fathom such a lifestyle. I live it.

  6. DAILY DRAWING #11:
    DAVID BOWIE EDITION

I had done more but they were all pretty bad; the first one was the best one I liked. Feelin the 80s here. Been also practicing to draw direct, looking and doing that one final line no sketchy stuff. I’m a bit tired being 2am and all so I didn’t have much patience with it.

  7. Acrylic painting at china town today. I used a limited palette with cad red accent, thank god for that. It wasn’t as gloomy as I thought so the bright colors at Chinatown really needed to be used, at least for my preference.

  8. A comp for class last term; subject: fatal.

    Gouache

Batman is ultimately a man, so his morality is his fatality and age is always fatal.
